About Us
Prime Pet Foods has been a family owned and run business since 1998. We spent ten years gaining a reputation as a high quality pet food processor and wholesaler, before taking our products directly to retail customers.
We’ve always believed that the four-footed members of a household deserve the best, so our mince is made from prime cuts of beef. See porterhouse or eye fillet on the packet? That’s just what’s inside. And we’ve worked hard to keep it free of preservatives. We’re the only Australia pet food processors who can say that.
We have always we used our own meat from our own in-house boning room in order to ensure a consistently high quality product. That means we know exactly what we package and you know exactly what you’re buying.
Based in Camperdown in South-West Victoria, we employ between 70 and 90 people depending on the season. They work here in Camperdown and in our other facilities in Ballarat, Hamilton, Penola and Gippsland.
While we’re proud of our products, there’s no resting on our laurels. We’re always looking at ways to improve what we offer you and your pets.
